New In Town — Kentish Town Stores

Delicious fare and beautiful handcrafted wares are the order of the day at this new multi-functioning space in Kentish Town.

We stumbled upon the independent lifestyle store, coffee shop and event space on a chilly January afternoon. Drawn in by the navy-painted shop front, we ventured inside to find a bright, light space housing a minimal coffee counter and shelves of thoughtfully selected ceramics, beeswax candles and various other unique homewares, virtually all made by UK-based creators. Highlights include bisque-coloured ceramics by Scottish Potter Cara Guthrie and a small range of organic cosmetics from Batch 001.

Freelancers welcome

Upstairs, there's a coworking and event space, featuring a number of hot desks and quiet corners, perfect for a screen break. Stay tuned for an exciting roster of events too — apparently we can expect everything from yoga classes to supper clubs.

Go for coffee and sunshine

Considering it only opened in December 2019, Kentish Town Stores already welcomes a steady stream of locals. Perhaps it’s the freshly ground All Press coffee, or maybe it’s the warm welcome. Or perhaps it’s because it has one of the best suntraps in North London. Either way, we urge you to stop by and decide for yourself, immediately.
